Automotive Engineer / Chassis Designer

Position will involve managing surface development for Automotive Chassis Components, including exhaust, fuel system and controls.

Job Duties Include but are not limited to:

- Verifying drawings
- Participating on product quality projects
- Creating 3D designs and 2D layouts
- Calculating and controlling component parts cost/weight
- Managing development projects and team schedules
- Coordinating with departments, suppliers and manufacturing

Position Requirements:

- BSME or equivalent
- Minimum 7 years of experience in an automotive, drafting and/or design capacity
- PC proficiency with MS Office and other technical software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to travel and work overtime as needed
