Automotive Research Engineer
Leading design and research firm with multiple subcontract work in the New Manufacturing field seeks Reasearch Engineer with speciality in Automotive design. In this role you will conduct laboratory testing required in the development of vehicle drivetrain components and systems (automatic, manual, automated manual, CVT, transfer case, etc.); interface with clients; write program reports; prepare proposals for continued research; manage project technical activities, budget and work schedules; troubleshoot mechanical systems, instrumentation and software; develop and analyze design concepts; prepare and oversee fixture drawings; perform and oversee fabrication.
